About Christy Clark
Christy is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner working with individuals across the life span. She received her Doctorate from the University of Tennessee in 2020. Christy has been an RN for over 20 years, receiving her BSN in 2001 from Austin Peay State University and she worked with all ages and stages of life during that time.
Christy has worked with babies all the way up to the geriatric population and loved every moment of it. Prior to obtaining her Doctorate from UT, she worked for many years in healthcare administration and decided to go back to school because she missed interacting with my patients and felt she had more to offer the community. She is passionate about mental health and enjoys working with individuals and families to help them achieve mental wellness.
About Jason Poston
Jason Poston is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and Personal Protection Specialist (PPS). As a licensed therapist, he has extensive experience in private mental health practice and residential treatment programs, working with clients with behavioral, mental health, and substance abuse challenges. As a manager for both treatment and security programs, he successfully supervised and led daily facility treatment and security activities. He is a Certified Gang Specialist and member of the Virginia Gang Investigator's Association. He is a former investigating authority and probation officer responsible for identifying suspected gang members, and served as agency liaison with local, State, and Federal law enforcement personnel.
Mr. Poston has a combined understanding of behavioral analysis, mental health, drug treatment, drug prevention as well as personal security and protection needs. His background, knowledge, experience, and training as a Clinician and Protection Specialist make him uniquely suited for protective and risk mitigation assignments in a variety of environments - from celebrities, public figures, and entertainers to corporate executives and private families with at risk children.
His extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults make him an asset in providing protection and working with this specialized clientele; as well as those who may be in the midst of their own personal drug rehab/aftercare efforts.
He is a graduate of such prestigious protection schools/courses as EPI, ESI, and ICON. He is a member of the Nine Lives Associates, a Certified Anti-Terrorism Specialist (CAS) by the Anti-Terrorism Accreditation Board (ATAB), and registered in Virginia as a Personal Protection Specialist by the Department of Criminal Justice Services.
About Wanda Williams
Tywanda is a Licensed Clinical Therapist (LCSW) with a passion for providing the utmost quality of services to individuals struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. During the therapy process she assists clients in the discovery of their strengths, building support system, and developing a healthy lifestyle to set the foundation for life success. She also incorporates wellness techniques like mindfulness and other holistic approaches into the therapeutic process in order to holistically address client needs. As therapist, I hold space with the client and view them as the expert of your own life with the intention to assist and guide them to the answers that best fit their own personal values!
Tywanda received her Masters of Social Work Degree from Eastern Michigan University in which she focused her studies on Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders. Her previous experience includes working with adults and children in both inpatient and outpatient settings and is experienced at treating a variety of mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, trauma, co-occurring disorders, relationships, stress management and life transitions. Tywanda has also worked many years providing Employee Assistance Services that address employee work places issues and concerns.
